Dear Parents:
I would like to take an opportunity to welcome all the students back for another school year. Our opening day went quite smooth and I would like to thank all parents for their continued cooperation. I would like to inform you of a couple of changes that will be taking place:
1. The
Main Entrance for the building has been changed from the center door to the
door adjacent to our school yard.
All parents and visitors who are coming to school must sign at the new
main entrance. This was done to
alleviate the traffic at our center (up) stair case. In addition, please remember that all parents and
visitors must have identification
in order to enter the building.
2. We
are requesting parents who are dropping off their children in the morning, PLEASE
DO NOT DOUBLE PARK in front of the
school, because Yellow School Buses are also dropping off students in the
morning.
These items are just a couple of items that we want to address. It should also be noted that there are two items that need to be returned to school:
1. The Emergency Blue Contact Sheet must be returned because this has important information about your child and their emergency contacts.
2. The Sign-Off from the planner must be returned. This is the sign off for a variety of items, such as the Discipline Code, Grading Policy, Media Release, etc.
We are also having our first PTA
meeting on Tuesday, September 22nd at 6:30 pm. We are looking forward to seeing all of
you at this meeting.
